Google drive have a great feature called "Manage Version", thats allow to make changes in existing shared. And you don’t need to share a new link because previous shared link are no change allong with make change or edit the file.

Update Google Drive Files
1. Select File
2. Right Click and Select Manage Version
3. Upload New Version of Your file.
Now, when you go to old Share link you will able to view new updated version of file.
